As the Senior Vice President and General Manager of New Business for Comcast Cable, Bowling is responsible for overseeing the identification and development of new business opportunities that fit seamlessly into Comcast's existing product mix or expand the current scope of the Company's services. Bowling is currently leading Comcast in various new initiatives including the rollout of Xfinity Home Security and Xfinity Signature Support, a new 24x7 technical support and equipment protection program for Comcast customers.

Identifying new business opportunities is a position for which Bowling is uniquely qualified. A veteran of the communications industry, Bowling most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Online Services for Comcast Corporation. Under his leadership, Comcast grew to become the largest Internet service provider in America. In this role, he also helped Comcast increase its Internet speeds numerous times which successfully resulted in the industry launch of DOCSIS 3.0.

Bowling previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations and led the successful execution of Comcast's operational strategy for online and voice services. Bowling joined Comcast in 1997 as the Northeast Region General Manager for Comcast Satellite and prior to that, he oversaw technical operations for Cablevision and served as General Manager for Hertz Corporation.

Bowling earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marshall University. He is on the board of trustees of the Philadelphia Chapter of Outward Bound. He also has helped raise considerable awareness about online child safety and identity theft prevention and was a recipient of an Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2008 by the Family Online Safety Institute for his efforts to raise awareness about online safety issues.
